Why We Started
We started Zeigi to do things differently — and better. The idea began with a simple question: why is finding work still based on static resumes and keyword filters? Our founder Jan Valkonen watched his daughter navigate a broken job market and saw first-hand how fragmented profiles fail to capture a person’s potential. That personal frustration sparked a mission to build a system that treats every job seeker as a whole person, not a string of buzzwords.
Before Zeigi, Jan and his team spent years developing future-of-work and AI-driven hiring technologies that earned recognition as a leading enabler in Finland’s AI Landscape report. Building on that expertise, Zeigi was born to tackle an even bigger challenge: creating a single, adaptive identity layer for the modern workforce.
